Hanging Out in New York City
I had a ball this Thanksgiving. I spent a week in New York with my daughters and some friends, and as always, the city that never sleeps was a real adventure.
Thanksgiving Workout – Aerial Yoga Class
Over the weekend, I jumped on the L train to Brooklyn to check out this Unnata Aerial Yoga Class. Founded by Yoga Instructor and Aerial Acrobatic Performer Michelle Dortignac, Aerial Yoga has its students in challenging yoga postures while supported by a soft, low-hanging fabric trapeze. The decompression, elongation, and deep relaxation are simply amazing, and for me, it was truly the perfect post-Thanksgiving workout.
Leave it to New York to turn your world upside down.
Hey Kathy! There’s an “aerial yoga” class in San Fran area taught by Karen Andes. She also is in on a company making newfangled monkey bars! She’s now known as Aruna, her belly/pole dancing name(I think).
