Exactly What Breakfast To Make… According To Your Personality

Do you wake up naturally with the sun? Or, do you like to shut the blinds and sleep until noon? Maybe you’re the type that presses the snooze button one too many times and is constantly running out the door in a hurry.

No matter which category you fall into, I have a perfect breakfast just for your personality… 

The Morning Bird

You pop out of bed, grab your shoes and are out the door to workout before the clock strikes 7:00. If this is you, chances are you’ll need an option for post-workout recovery but something that will also keep you energized for the rest of the day. Try overnight oats. They’re a healthy, hearty option that you make the night before, so they’re waiting for you in your fridge right after your workout. Here are my favorite recipes:

The Meditator 

You enjoy mornings, but prefer to take them slowly, spending time in meditation and doing gentle yoga stretches before your shower. If this is you, try a frittata. These protein-packed options are easy to make, and you’ll feel like you’re treating yourself. Simply mix all the ingredients together, pour them in a muffin tin, and let them bake in the oven while you say your morning mantras. Here’s my favorite go-to frittata recipe.

The Snooze Pusher 

Mornings are fine, but you’d rather press snooze five times and run out the door in a hurry to get every second of sleep you can. When you’re in a rush, you need an option that takes less than three minutes to whip together and is easy to take with you on your commute. Sound familiar? Then smoothies are your best friend.
