Blueberry Heart Healthy Smoothie Recipe

  • 8 oz unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 serving chocolate or vanilla protein powder – check out the Kathy Smith Protein Powder
  • 1 cup frozen berries
  • 1/4 avocado, pitted
  • 2 to 3 cups or large handfuls of fresh, baby kale or spinach
  • 1 tablespoon of ground flax or chia seed


I consider myself a pro when it comes to protein shakes. Years ago, I began training for a marathon and the workouts were intense!
