Tai Chi

TREAT YOURSELF TO RELAXATION

You don’t need to choose between movement or relaxation during this month of travel and gatherings. Treat yourself to both! A Tai Chi practice combines meditation and movement with a deep understanding of breath and lifeforce energy.

Today’s new Tai Chi video can help the stressapalooza out of the season and reclaim your peace. Notice the activation in the glutes and quadriceps as you move through these gentle poses. As you glide through each step, don’t forget to set aside your worries for just a moment. Simply relax your mind and FEEL the tranquil energy sweep over your entire body while performing these deep meditative movements.

The first time I took a Tai Chi class was overlooking a beach in Santa Monica over twenty-five years ago. Even after all these years, I’m still finding ways to deepen my practice of this charismatic art form.

Every slow yet steady movement in Tai Chi has a purpose… infused with the opportunity to expand into the energetic field around you.

Tai Chi unites breath work, meditation, and prolonged body movements that may seem like they aren’t doing much for your physical body. Yet, they are stabilizing and extremely powerful.

Tai Chi is excellent for those who are limited in movement or need lower impact exercise, because it helps to align the body, building balance and toning the muscles. It can also help reduce stress and boost mental clarity and focus, which comes from both its meditative and physical facets.

Enjoy feeling centered and settled!
