Spring cleaning starts now!

If you’re feeling a nudge to get rid of excess winter bulk, today’s new recipe is for you… Bieler Broth!

You may have heard about it before… this blended vegetable soup has been around for decades. I started sipping it 40 years ago when my body was ready to push the “reset” button.

The combo of garden fresh veggies…manly zucchini, celery, parsley, and green beans… creates a cleansing, nourishing, and plant-based meal. You can amp up the flavor by adding in garlic, pepper, or even fresh turmeric.

This time-tested recipe was created by Dr. Henry Bieler as a medicinal way to restore and correct the balance between acidity and alkalinity in the body. He’s the author of Food is Your Best Medicine, where this recipe was featured and shot into stardom.

Ready in under 30 minutes, Bieler Broth is a classic recipe used in many detoxes and cleanses as a day to spring clean the digestive tract.

The broth traditionally includes a blend of…

Celery… to lower inflammation and boost digestion.

Zucchini…  high in water percentage, low in calories, and packed with potassium.

String beans... the carbohydrates release slowly in your body and help avoid blood sugar spikes and dips.

Parsley… contains a variety of protective vitamins and flavonoid antioxidants.
