40-Min Workout 


For arms that look more strong and sculpted, look no further than today’s upper body routine, “Secrets of a Great Upper Body”!

In 40 minutes, this complete upper body workout zooms in on your arms using a “low-rep overload” technique, which means that you’re using resistance difficult enough to challenge your muscles with fewer repetitions.

This is one of the workouts unveiled in the ReShape app’s June challenge to sculpt your upper body. The challenge just launched, and it’s not too late to join the fun! Each month in ReShape, there’s a new workout focus, and for June, it’s arms! 

Today’s workout gives your upper body some attention with a variety of strength-training exercises to firm and shape your arms, back, chest, and shoulders, regardless of your fitness level. 

Some of the moves, such as pushups, use body weight for resistance. For the rest, use a pair of dumbbells. Of course, there are modifications for each movement, so whether you’re doing a pushup on your knees or toes, there’s a way to make this workout suit your ability level. 

After this complete upper body video, you’ll definitely feel it in your biceps, triceps, and shoulders. As with any exercise routine, be sure to stick around for the arm stretches at the end to prevent tight muscles.
