A stability ball is a powerful tool for creating functional strength. The key is using it the proper way! By tackling basic moves on an unstable surface, you engage more muscles…specifically in your core.
These bouncy balls are also perfect for using after an injury, because they can reduce muscle strain during particular movements.
Here are 4 of my favorite stability ball moves that are featured this month in First For Women magazine. And yes, I’ve included modifiers to make them more or less advanced, depending on your fitness level and desired intensity. Add them to your routine and you’ll soon notice increased stability and strength.
