Pushing Boundaries

AT ANY AGE

At 72 years old, I recently took on the 29029 Everest Challenge—an endurance event where participants climb 29,029 feet (the equivalent height of Mt. Everest) within 36 hours. This experience reinforced my belief that age is truly just a number. It highlighted the importance of pushing personal limits and how perseverance and mental toughness are key to staying young and strong.

My daughter Kate was my cheerleader at the event, and took pictures of every moment (rain…lots of rain….and shine). Click below to see the Instagram highlight reel of the day!

In today’s NEW episode of the Brain Fitness Podcast, my friend Dr. Patrick Porter and I had a fantastic conversation exploring the deep connection between brain fitness and physical fitness.

During our chat, I shared some of my personal wisdom on how consistency, positivity, and setting big goals are essential for long-term wellness. We also discussed the importance of listening to your body and intuition, making choices that align with your values, and starting early to build a healthy and active lifestyle that will last a lifetime.

If you’re interested in hearing more about living healthier, staying active, and achieving longevity at any age, I encourage you to tune in to this conversation. You’ll find actionable steps that you can incorporate into your own life.
