PROTEIN SMOOTHIE BOWL
This one is both breakfast AND a treat…I love that combo! A thick, creamy berry smoothie bowl topped with crunchy nuts, fresh fruit, and a drizzle of almond butter is the ultimate way to start the day. The protein powder and Greek yogurt blend together with frozen berries and banana to give you a soft-serve texture. Top it with nuts and a drizzle of almond butter for added healthy fats and crunch.
Protein: ~28g | Serves: 1 | Time: 5 minutes
Smoothie Base:
1/2 frozen banana, chopped
1 cup frozen mixed berries
1 scoop (25-30g) vanilla protein powder (whey or plant-based)
1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
2-3 Tablespoons unsweetened almond milk
1 teaspoon almond butter
Toppings:
2 Tablespoons chopped walnuts or almonds
1 teaspoon almond butter, drizzled on top
Instructions:
Place all smoothie base ingredients in a high-powered blender. Start with 2 Tablespoons of milk and add more only if needed. You want this thick and scoopable. Blend until smooth, pour into a bowl, add toppings, and enjoy immediately.
Pro tip: Use frozen fruit only. Fresh fruit makes the base too thin. Always start with less liquid than you think you need.
