Creamy Fig and
CINNAMON PROTEIN SHAKE
It’s November, and we have officially fallen into the Autumn season! Your pantry is probably filling with seasonal spices and colorful ingredients…and today’s Creamy Fig and Cinnamon Shake is a tasty way to add your favorite flavors to a morning shake.
This smoothie is fall in a glass! Figs are the star of the show of this creamy delight… they’re high in fiber, and have a touch of sweetness.
Add some protein powder, chia seeds or almond butter drizzle on top, and enjoy!
- 1 1/2 cup almond milk
- 3-4 fresh figs
- 1 1/2 frozen banana
- 1/3 cup rolled oats
- 1 tbsp flax seeds or meal
- 1-2 tsp cinnamon
- handful of mulberries
- extra figs
- sprinkle of rolled oats or muesli
- sprinkle of chia seeds
- granola or rawnola
- 1/4 cup coconut yogurt (optional)
- 1 cinnamon stick for stirring
