Waking up in Park City on snowy mornings, an icy protein shake doesn’t sound appealing. When the temperatures drop close to zero… yes, you heard me right…. I like to turn my shake into a warm, cozy mug of deliciousness.

I’ve rounded up 4 protein shakes that will comfort you from the inside out. This will change your cold-weather mornings forever!

WARM MOCHACCINO SHAKE

½ cup brewed coffee
1 serving chocolate Kathy Smith Protein Shake
2 Tbsp to 1/2 Cup (depending on your preference) unsweetened almond milk
1 tablespoon raw cacao
1 tablespoon coconut milk

Blend together all ingredients and enjoy!

WARM VANILLA CHAI

4 oz of unsweetened almond milk, warm
4 oz of black tea, warm
1 serving vanilla protein powder
½ tsp powdered ginger
½ tsp cinnamon
dash of: pepper, cardamom, ground cloves, and nutmeg
¼ tsp pure vanilla extract
1 tablespoon freshly-ground flax seeds

Place all ingredients in blender and mix together.

PROTEIN HOT CHOCOLATE 

1 C. Water
2 Tbsp. chocolate protein powder
1 tsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
1 Tbsp coconut oil

Heat water until boiling. Mix in protein powder and cocoa. Pour in mug and garnish with milk froth and dark chocolate shavings.

MATCHA LATTE 

1 C Warm water
2 Tbsp to 1/2 Cup (depending on your preference) cashew milk
1 scoop collagen
1/2 tsp matcha

Heat the water on the stove, and whisk in your matcha. Once combined, add in collagen and milk. Heat until desired temperature.
