These glutes were made for walkin’! It’s true – your rear assists in everyday movements, from standing to running to lifting. And, it’s the biggest and strongest muscle in your body. Since we’re moving out of swimsuit season and slipping into blue jeans, it’s time to bring up the rear, and put some zing in your cheeks.

But before we dive into detail, let’s go back to basics, and learn how to fire up your fanny. This all comes down to a principle called muscle activation. So if you sit for hours at a time, there’s a high probability that you have weak buns. To maximize the involvement of your glutes during exercise, do the moves in today’s video (below) before you shower, or after sitting for extended periods of time.
